where to start....

i got the first book of the twilight series for christmas. i had heard rave reviews about it, and knowing how i love teen romances, i knew i had to get my hands (or eyes, rather) on a copy on the first book. i am about 3/4 done with the book, and i'm completely in love with edward. even though i hadn't finished the book, i had to go see the movie. edward, played by robert pattinson, is absolutely delicious. he is also british. EVEN BETTER! the brits can always wear clothes so nicely. gotta love a skinny tie, fitted suit, and pointy dress shoes. sighh....

but thats not the point....the movie was really really good. acting maybe not so good sometimes, but the storyline is very sweet. i cried at the end when he took her to prom and they were dancing outside under a canopy of lights, and he told her that he'd never leave her. i wish romance was like that in real life. i think after watching movies like this, with god like men falling in love with the clumsy, yet oddly beautiful girl, is bad for me. i get unrealistic ideas in my head that lead me to live in a fantasy world. oh well, its much better that way, because in my fantasy world there is always a happy ending. maybe im more like jane austen....again not the point. my point IS is that the movie is wonderful and i can't wait for the next one.

here are some xmas cocktails to spice up the holidays. also, if you want to try and eggnog latte (i hate eggnog so i have no idea how this really tastes) mix half eggnog and half milk with espresso (1,2 or 3 shots according to size). dust with some eggnog and there you go!

Caribbean Christmas
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Malibu
1 oz. Grenadine
Equal Parts of Cranberry Juice & Lemonade
Serve with a slice of lemon for the edge of the glass.

Silent Night
1 oz Tequila
1 oz Blue Curacao
1 oz Triple Sec
Pineapple Juice
Squirt of Lime

Irish Eggnog
1 oz Guinness Fine Irish Draft
1 oz Bacardi Golden Rum
Eggnog
Mix together and enjoy Christmas drinks Irish style.

Drunken Elf
1 oz Bacardi Golden Rum
Pink Lemonade
Serve with a candy cane hanging off the rim of a tall slender glass.

Boxing Day
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Triple Sec
Orange Juice
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
Dash of Clove
Stir well and serve in a large tumbler glass.

Sleigh Crash Martini
1 oz Gin
1 oz Raspberry Sour Puss Liquor
Cranberry Juice
Wet rim of glass and dip in white sugar.
Add 3 cranberries in the bottom of martini glass.
Serve Immediately.

Mistletoe Bellini
1 oz Bacardi White Rum
1 oz Malibu
Fresh Strawberries
Ice
Blend together ice and strawberries in blender until slush.

i was reading julia's blog about miu miu and the spring 2009 collection. it resparked my love of everything miu miu. when i was in london, there was a kiwi that would come in (probably the most stylish person I've ever met) who wore everything miu miu. she was my hero.

i was especially excited when kirsten dunst was the face of the brand, but now that vanessa is the new spokesmodel, i think i like her ads more. here are some of my favorite pieces, along with some jimmy choos and chanels, that i will one day be able to purchase.

how is it that i always look so fucking ruthless and heartless. i continually fuck shit up and i dont even do it on purpose. maybe i do? maybe deep down i am the awful person that i know that i am.

i had been texting a band boy and sending some naughty photos. it was all fun and games. i learned that he was playing in raleigh with my other good friend and decided that i wanted to go see them play. i was talking to a mutual friend and he said that the band boy had asked for another girl to come down cause he wanted to see her. they had been texting as well. i was heartbroken and felt alittle used, but i mean honestly its a boy in a band. what should i expect? i decided i wanted to still go and have fun and not cause any drama or anything. i get there, this said boy doesn't even say hi to me, which hurt alittle bit. i started talking to the girls' best friend and we got on the subject of her friends relationship with the band boy. turns out he was both sending us naked photos of himself...THE SAME PHOTOS. so yeah, i was alittle grossed out. but when we were talking, she was texting her friend on the bus letting her know what i had said. i wasn't trying to start shit, or be mean, or cause drama. i need to keep telling myself this cause it's true and i need myself to believe it. band boy runs in and pulls my friend away telling him that i need to get the fuck out and that by the time they played i better be gone. when i was informed of this i started crying because i've never felt so mean and rude and heartless. and it wasn't even on purpose. i decided to leave because i felt incredibly unwanted and made to look like a horrible person.

now, for everyone else's benefit, i have decided to not be friends with anyone anymore cause obviously i'm a horrible person who causes drama and ruins peoples relationships. i'm so stupid. i hate myself so much. i cried all the way home. i feel so low i can't even explain.

i hate people. yet i love them. i love at peoples myspace and facebook profiles and i realize how alone i really am and how much i hate myself and envie others. its amazing really. i feel so bad about how much ive neglected my friends, but its been really ahrd for me recently to go out. i love being around people, its just become so much of a hassle for me to go out to parites. i dont want to drink or go to large parties, yet thats all that everyone seems to do around here. so, i stay in my room by myself, alone and miserable. i know its partly due to my depression flaring up again, but i dont want that to be an excuse. its a shitty excuse. so im just stuck. whatever. people hate me and i guess i have to be ok with that. at least before i had my kitties to keep me company. and jill as well. but now that she's miss popular, which im completely stoked for her, i have no one. but, i do realize that if i call people to hang out then they will start to call me, but i hate imposing myself on people. i cant wait to escape to florence without telling anyone that im going. that will be soo much fun you haven o idea.
